Gaocun Town is a town and the county seat of Mayang Miao Autonomous County in Hunan Province, China. It serves as the seat of the local government for the region.
The town was established on November 25, 2015, through a merger involving Luxikou Township, Liping Township, Gudapo Township, and the former Gaocun Town. Located in the mid-northern region of the county, it covers an area of 187.6 km2 (72.4 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 104,300 residents. As of May 2016, the town was divided into 37 villages and communities.
