Baicheng is a prefecture-level city located in the northwestern part of Jilin province, China. It serves as a regional hub situated at the borders of Inner Mongolia to the north and west, and Heilongjiang to the east and northeast.
The administrative area of Baicheng covers approximately 25,683 km² (9,916 sq mi). According to the 2010 census, the city had a population of 2,033,058 residents living within its boundaries.
