Yunzhong Commandery was a historical administrative division located in northern China. Its territory was situated geographically between the Great Wall and the Yin Mountains.
The region corresponding to the ancient commandery encompasses parts of what are now modern-day Hohhot, Baotou, and Ulanqab prefectures within the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
