Chongwen

Chongwen District was a former administrative district of Beijing, China. It was located southeast of the city center at Tiananmen, situated specifically between Yongdingmen and Qianmen. The district covered a total area of 16.46 square kilometres (6.36 mi2).

The district shared borders with Dongcheng to the north, Fengtai to the south, Chaoyang to the east, and Xuanwu to the west. In July 2010, Chongwen District was merged into the Dongcheng District.
