Changzhi is a prefecture-level city located in the southeastern region of Shanxi Province, China. It shares borders with Hebei Province to its northeast and Henan Province to its east.
Historically, Changzhi was recognized as one of the 36 administrative areas that existed during the reign of Qin Shi Huang.
