Pengpu

Bengbu is a city located in the northern region of Anhui Province, China. According to the 2020 census, the city had a registered population of 3,296,408 residents.

The urban area consists of four districts and Fengyang County in Chuzhou Prefecture, which are largely conurbated with a population of approximately 1,968,027. The name Bengbu translates to "Clam Wharf" in Chinese, a reference to the city's historical reputation as a site for freshwater pearl fishing.
