Jinze is a town located in the Qingpu District of Shanghai, China. It covers an area of 108.49 square kilometres (41.89 sq mi) and had a recorded population of 60,800 as of the 2017 census.
The town serves as an important transportation hub connecting Shanghai with the neighboring provinces of Zhejiang and Jiangsu via convenient land and water routes. It is bordered by several surrounding towns, including Shenta, Zhouzhuang, Jinxi, Liantang, Zhujiajiao, Dingshan, and Dashun.
