Mentougou District is a district located in the western part of Beijing, China. It covers a total area of 1,321 square kilometres (510 sq mi) and serves as one of the city's major administrative divisions.
The district has a population of 392,606 inhabitants and is subdivided into four subdistricts and nine towns. It shares borders with several other Beijing districts, including Changping to the northeast, Haidian and Shijingshan to the east, Fengtai to the southeast, and Fangshan to the south. To its west and northwest, Mentougou borders Hebei province.
