Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County is located in the southeastern region of Liaoning province, China. It serves as one of the 117 autonomous counties nationwide and is specifically designated as one of the 11 Manchu autonomous counties.
The county falls under the administration of Anshan, occupying its southernmost portion. The center of Anshan is situated approximately 136 kilometres to the north-northwest of the county. As of 2020, Xiuyan has a recorded population of 413,000 residents.
