Lingyuan is a city located in the western part of Liaoning province in Northeast China. It serves as a regional location bordering both Hebei province and Inner Mongolia.
The city falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Chaoyang City, which is situated approximately 94 kilometres to the east-northeast of Lingyuan.
