Dalian

Dalian is a major prefecture-level, sub-provincial port city located in Liaoning province, China. It serves as the second largest city in Liaoning and ranks as the third-most populous city in Northeast China. The city is situated on the southern tip of the Liaodong peninsula, making it the southernmost city in both Liaoning province and the entire Northeast region.

The city shares land borders with the prefectural cities of Yingkou and Anshan to the north and Dandong to the northeast. It also maintains maritime boundaries with Qinhuangdao and Huludao across the Liaodong Bay to the west and northwest, Yantai and Weihai on the Shandong peninsula across the Bohai Strait to the south, and North Korea across the Korea Bay to the east.
