Beipiao

Beipiao is a city situated in the Chaoyang prefecture of Liaoning province, located in Northeast China. It has a recorded population of 202,807 residents.

The primary industry of the region is coal mining. The area is notable for housing some of the deepest coal mines in China, featuring vertical shafts that reach depths of almost 1000 meters. The coal extracted from these mines is primarily utilized for coking.

In addition to its industrial significance, the city's northwestern region contains the Daheishan National Forest Park.
