Changping District, formerly known as Changping County, is a district located in the suburbs of north and northwest Beijing, China. It serves as one of the primary residential and administrative areas surrounding the capital city.
As of November 2020, the district had a population of 2,269,487 residents. This figure makes Changping the most populous suburban district in Beijing.
