Anshun is a prefecture-level city located in southwestern Guizhou province in southwest China. It serves as a regional hub situated near Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is recognized as the tallest waterfall in China.
According to the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 2,297,339, while the population of the city proper was recorded at 765,313. The prefecture is home to several notable geographical and natural attractions, including the Getu River and the Long Gong Dragon Caves.
