Liujiaxia

China

Liujiaxia refers to a location in China situated within the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province. Specifically, it identifies Liujia Gorge, which is located just downstream from the confluence of the Tao River and the Yellow River.

The area is most notable for hosting the Liujiaxia Dam, a major hydroelectric dam and facility situated on the eastern outskirts of Liujiaxia Town. Because Liujiaxia Town serves as the county seat of Yongjing County, the location is frequently identified on less detailed maps simply as "Yongjing."
