Huishi is a town located in Huining County, Gansu Province, China. It serves as the county seat and had a recorded population of 136,000 in 2019.
The town's name literally translates to "meeting of the armies," which refers to its historical significance during the Chinese Civil War. In October 1936, the Red Army met in Huishi to celebrate the conclusion of the Long March.
