Hongshui

China

The Hongshui River is a major waterway located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. It serves as one of the primary rivers within the basin of the Xi River, which is itself a significant tributary of the Pearl River.

The river is characterized by its distinct reddish-brown color, which derives from its flow through the red rock series area. This geological feature provides the namesake for the Hongshui River.
