Ngamring County is a county located in the Xigazê Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. It is often characterized as a barren geographical area that serves as a significant transition point between different regions.
The county is notably situated at the divide between the Raga Tsangpo and the Brahmaputra rivers. Due to its location, it is frequently referred to as the gateway to Mount Kailash and Far West Tibet.
