Maizhokunggar, also known as Kunggar, is a small town located in the Lhasa Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. It serves as the administrative seat of Maizhokunggar County.
The area possesses a history spanning more than 1,000 years. It is particularly noted for its traditional pottery, which is characterized by an ethnic style and properties that are both heat-retaining and non-corrodible.
