Xinyuan County, also transliterated from Uyghur as Künas County, is a county located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. It falls under the administration of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture and covers a total area of 7,581 square kilometers.
According to the 2002 census, the county has a population of approximately 290,000 residents. The region is served by Xinyuan Nalati Airport, which provides transportation access to the area.
