Xidi is a village located in Xidi Town within Yi County, situated in the Huangshan City region of Anhui province, China. It is positioned in the historical Huizhou region and serves as a significant example of traditional Chinese rural life.
The village is renowned for its exceptional preservation of medieval Chinese city planning and rural architecture. Due to these characteristics, Xidi was designated as part of the "Ancient Villages in Southern Anhui" UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, a title it shares with the nearby town of Hongcun.
