Shuiding, formerly known as Suiding (Suiting), is a town located in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture within the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. It serves as the county seat for Huocheng County.
The town is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the northwest of Yining, which is the primary city of the prefecture. Geographically, it lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the Ili River.
