Mekit

Makit County is a county located in the Kashgar Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China. It covers a total land area of 10,927 km² (4,219 sq mi).

The geography of the county is characterized by the Yarkand River, which passes through its territory. Makit County shares borders with Maralbexi County to the north, Guma County (Pishan) in Hotan Prefecture to the east, Yarkant County to the west, and Kargilik County to the south.
