Dafeng

Dafeng District is a coastal administrative division located in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, China. Situated on the Jiangsu North Plain, the district features a coastline spanning 112 km (70 mi) and borders the prefecture-level city of Taizhou to its southwest.

Historically recognized as one of the largest salt-making regions in China, Dafeng is currently known for its well-preserved ecosystems. The area contains numerous national conservation parks, most notably the largest national nature reserve dedicated to the rare Père David's Deer, also known as Milu.
