Maqiao is a city located in China.
The name Maqiao is also associated with "A Dictionary of Maqiao," a novel written by the Chinese author Han Shaogong. First published in 1996 and translated into English by Julia Lovell in 2003, the work was recognized by Yazhou Zhoukan as one of the top 100 greatest Chinese novels of the 20th century.
