Jingzhou is a prefecture-level city situated in the southern region of Hubei province, China. It is geographically positioned along the banks of the Yangtze River.
According to the 2020 census, the total residential population of Jingzhou was 5,231,180. Of this total population, 1,068,291 residents live within the built-up area, which consists of two urban districts.
