Huchang

Huchang is a former name for the current administrative division known as Kimhyŏngjik County. It is located within Ryanggang Province in North Korea.

The region was renamed in 1988 to honor Kim Hyŏng-jik, who was a prominent leader of the anti-Japanese liberation movement in Korea. The area currently functions as a county (kun) under the jurisdiction of the provincial government.
