Huangpi

China

Huangpi District is one of 13 urban districts located within the prefecture-level city of Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei Province. Situated on the northern (left) bank of the Yangtze River, it serves as the northernmost and most spacious district in the city. The Sheshui river enters the Yangtze at Shekou within this district.

While primarily rural in character, Huangpi District hosts significant infrastructure facilities. These include Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and Wuhan North Railway Station, which functions as a major freight station and classification yard on the Beijing–Guangzhou Railway. The district borders Xinzhou to the east, Jiang'an to the south, Dongxihu to the southwest, and Hongshan on the opposite bank of the Yangtze River. It also shares borders with the prefecture-level cities of Huanggang to the northeast and Xiaogan to the northwest.
