Fuchang was a historical county located in China during the Tang and Song dynasties. It fell under the administration of Henan Prefecture and served as a regional administrative division for several centuries.
The county seat was situated in what is now Fuchang Village of Yiyang County, located approximately 27 kilometers west of downtown Yiyang in Henan Province. The area was notable as the birthplace of the Tang dynasty poet Li He.
During the Later Tang dynasty, the county was renamed Fuqing before reverting to its original name in 960 during the Song dynasty. Fuchang was eventually abolished in 1072 and merged into Shou'an County, which later became known as Yiyang in 1186.
