Ezhou, also known as O-chou, is a prefecture-level city located in eastern Hubei Province, China. It serves as a significant administrative division within the region.
According to the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 1,079,353 residents. Of this population, 695,697 people live in the core Echeng District. Additionally, the Ezhou-Huanggang built-up area, which comprises the Echeng and Huanggang Districts, is home to 1,152,559 inhabitants.
