Dachuan District is a district located in Dazhou, situated in the northeastern region of Sichuan province, China. The area covers a total landmass of 2,688 square kilometres (approximately 1,038 square miles). As of 2020, the district had a recorded population of 945,191 inhabitants.
Historically, the region was known as Da County or Daxian. It underwent an official name change in July 2013, when it was formally renamed to Dachuan District.
