Changgang County is a kun, or county, located in the north-central Chagang Province of North Korea. It was originally part of Kanggye before being established as a separate administrative county in 1949.
The county shares borders with several other regions: Hwapyong and Rangrim to the east, Kanggye and Sijung to the west, Songgan to the south, and Chasong to the north.
