Taohuajiang

Taohuajiang is a town located in Hunan Province, China. It serves as the administrative seat of Taojiang County and is situated in the eastern portion of the county.

The town was established in 2005 through the amalgamation of Huaguoshan Township, Niutanhe Township, and the former Taohuajiang Town. It covers a total area of 179.685 km² (69.377 sq mi) and has a population of 156,286 residents. The jurisdiction includes 21 villages and 10 communities.

Taohuajiang is bordered by several neighboring areas: Xinqiaohe Town of Ziyang District and Xiushan Town to the north; Huilongshan Subdistrict, Xielingang Town, and Xinshidu Town of Heshan District to the east; Shiniujiang Town to the south; and Gaoqiao and Fuqiushan townships to the west.
