Tangdukou is a town located in central Shaoyang County, Hunan Province, China. It serves as the administrative seat of Shaoyang County and was officially established in 1953. The town's current structure resulted from an amalgamation on November 24, 2015, which combined Huangtang Township, Xiatangyun Township, and the former Tangdukou Town.
The town covers a total area of 246.79 km² (95.29 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 188,000 residents. It is organized into 67 villages and 8 communities, with the Shiwan Community serving as its seat. Tangdukou is bordered by Xiaoxishi Township to the north, Jiugongqiao Township, Huangjing Township, and Xiahuaqiao Town to the east, Baicang Town to the south, and Jinchengshi Town and Huangtingshi Town to the west.
