Shenliu Town is the county seat of Anxiang County, located in Hunan Province, China. The town covers an area of 68.32 km2 (26.38 sq mi) and serves as a primary administrative center for the region.
The town was established in September 2008 through the amalgamation of Chengguan Town and Anyou Township. It derives its name from the famous Shenliu Academy, a historical site built during the Qing dynasty situated in the northern part of the town. As of recent data, the town has a population of 125,192 and oversees nine communities and 13 villages.
