Huitang is a rural town located in Ningxiang City within the Hunan Province of China. It serves as a local administrative area situated among several neighboring townships, including Fengmuqiao Township to the northwest, Xieleqiao Town to the northeast, and Jinsou Township to the south.
According to the 2015 census, Huitang covers an area of 210.9 square kilometres (81.4 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 96,000 residents.
