Hanshou County is a county located in the Hunan Province of China. It falls under the administration of Changde prefecture-city and is situated in the northern part of Hunan Province, specifically in the southeastern portion of Changde City.
The county covers an area of 2,091.3 square kilometres (1,299.5 miles) and has a registered population of 821,266. It is bordered by Dingcheng District to the north and west, Ziyang District of Yiyang City and Taojiang County to the south, and Yuanjiang and Nan County to the east.
Administratively, Hanshou County is divided into four subdistricts, 16 towns, and three townships. The county seat is located in the Longyang Subdistrict.
