Zaoqiang County is located in the southeastern region of Hebei Province, China. It falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Hengshui.
The county covers a total area of 903 km2 (349 sq mi). As of 2004, it had a recorded population of 380,000 residents. The region is served by the G45 Daqing–Guangzhou Expressway.
