Xinji

Xinji is a county-level city located in the Hebei Province of North China. It falls under the administration of Shijiazhuang, which serves as the provincial capital. Geographically, Xinji is distinguished as the easternmost county-level division within the Shijiazhuang prefecture.

The city's administrative structure consists of eight towns and seven townships. Its primary economic activity centers on the leather industry. Environmental conditions in the region are characterized by significant air pollution; specifically, during the winter heating period, PM2.5 concentrations frequently exceed national standard limits.
