Pengcheng is an alternative name for Xuzhou, a prefecture-level city located in northwestern Jiangsu province, China. The city is situated at a strategic geographic junction where the provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, and Anhui meet.
The city occupies a natural geographic gap positioned between the North China Plain and the Shandong Hills. As of the 2020 census, Xuzhou had a population of approximately 9.08 million people.
