Dingzhou

Dingzhou, formerly known as Dingxian or Tingchow, is a county-level city located in the prefecture-level city of Baoding within China's Hebei Province. Geographically, it sits approximately halfway between the cities of Baoding and Shijiazhuang, positioned 196 kilometers southwest of Beijing and 68 kilometers northeast of Shijiazhuang.

As of 2020, the city had a population of 1.1 million residents. Its administrative divisions consist of three subdistricts, 13 towns, eight townships, and one ethnic township.
