Xingyang is a county-level city located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, within South Central China. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers to the west of the city proper of Zhengzhou.
The city covers an area of about 908 square kilometers (351 square miles) and has a population of roughly 590,000 residents.
