Shanzhou District is an urban district located in Sanmenxia, situated in western Henan Province, China. The district borders the province of Shanxi to the north.
Historically, the area was known by several other names, including Shan County, Shanxian, or Shaan. It serves as a primary administrative division within the city of Sanmenxia.
