Puyang is a prefecture-level city located in the northeastern region of Henan province, China. It is situated on the northern shore of the Yellow River.
The city's geography is defined by its proximity to several neighboring regions. It borders Anyang to the west and Xinxiang to the southwest. To the east and north, Puyang shares boundaries with the provinces of Shandong and Hebei, respectively.
