Luohe is a prefecture-level city located in the central region of Henan province, China. It is geographically situated between several other cities, bordered by Xuchang to the north, Zhoukou to the east, Zhumadian to the south, and Pingdingshan to the west.
According to the 2020 Chinese census, the city had a total population of 2,367,490 inhabitants. Of this population, 1,326,687 residents lived within the built-up area, which is comprised of the Yancheng, Shaoling, and Yuanhui districts.
