Bowang District is a district located in the prefecture-level city of Ma'anshan in eastern Anhui province, China. It was officially established in September 2012 following the separation of the three towns of Bowang, Danyang, and Xinshi from Dangtu County.
The district covers a total area of 351 square kilometres (136 sq mi) and has a recorded population of 183,500 residents. It serves as an administrative division within the Ma'anshan municipal region.
