Anyang

Anyang is a prefecture-level city located in the northernmost part of Henan province, China. It is situated at geographical coordinates between 35° 41' to 36° 21' north latitude and 113° 38' to 114° 59' east longitude.

The city borders Puyang to the east, while Hebi and Xinxiang lie to its south. To the west and north, Anyang shares borders with the provinces of Shanxi and Hebei, respectively. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 5,477,614 people.

The built-up area of Anyang consists of four urban districts along with Anyang and Tangyin counties, which are now largely agglomerated with the city proper. Approximately 2,675,523 residents live within this specific urbanized region.
