Zhaodong is a city located in the southwestern region of Heilongjiang province, China. It serves as the southernmost county-level division within the prefecture-level city of Suihua.
The city's geographic position places it approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) to the northeast of Suihua's center and roughly 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Harbin, which is the provincial capital. Zhaodong is also a constituent part of the Harbin-Changchun Megalopolis.
