Shuangyashan

Shuangyashan is a coal mining prefecture-level city situated in the eastern part of Heilongjiang province, China. It shares a border with Russia's Khabarovsk and Primorsky Krais to its east. The name Shuangyashan translates to "pair-of-ducks mountains," which refers to two specific peaks located northeast of the city.

As of the end of 2024, the city had a total registered population of 1,336,100 residents, with 850,300 living in urban areas and 485,800 in rural areas. In 2007, the city reported a GDP of RMB 20.6 billion, reflecting a growth rate of 14.2%.
