Nehe is a county-level city situated in the western portion of Heilongjiang province in Northeast China. It is located near the border with Inner Mongolia to its west.
The city falls under the administration of Qiqihar City, which is positioned approximately 144 kilometres (89 mi) to the south-southwest of Nehe.
